Christmas: the annual mad feeding frenzy where people stampede through shopping centers to buy perfunctory gifts for each other, which end up either being thrown away or tossed into a dark corner. The adverts tell you it’s all meaningful, but actually it’s just the season to get yourself into debt because of our obsession with buying useless crap no one actually needs, for people we often don’t even like. Merry fucking Christmas.
